Project Assistant
Your Role
As a Project Assistant, you will be responsible for working with Project Managers to ensure projects are organized and well-maintained. You will have frequent contact with other departments, subcontractors, and clients, so excellent communication skills are required.
What You Will Do
- Schedule the project in logical steps
- Budget the time required to meet deadlines
- Maintain all necessary documents in the company computer system
- Regularly monitor projects for compliance with building and safety codes as well as other regulations
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, the project team, and clients while representing the owner or developer
- Prepare contracts and write amendments to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Track all necessary permits and licenses
- Regularly review and understand job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods for each project
- Prepare and submit budget estimates as well as progress and cost-tracking reports
- Oversee quality control programs
- Visit sites for weekly meetings and take minutes
- Obtain bids for projects and contact subcontractors for bids
- Plan, organize, and direct the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems
Qualifications
- Entry-level position (1-2 years of experience)
- Associate or B.S. in a construction-related field preferred
- Internship in construction preferred
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Project, and Office-related software

Superintendent
Your Role
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating projects from start to finish with Project Managers.
What You Will Do
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Perform quality control duties
- Communicate with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals
- Ensure subcontractors are properly executing their scope of work and other contractual obligations
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
- Coordinate all required inspections
- Identify issues with construction progress and communicate conflicts to the project team for resolution
- Maintain a daily computer log of job site activities
- Perform superintendent duties at multiple job sites simultaneously
- Ensure subcontractors correct all deficiencies identified by the project team
- Walk all units for projects on a daily basis to monitor activities and assist in future planning
- Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate the work
- Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling
- Ensure the job site is always kept clean and organized
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification
Qualifications
- Associate or B.S. in a construction-related field preferred
- 10+ years in commercial construction
- Procore, site-documenting skills (camera, tablet)
- Must be detail-oriented

Project Manager
Your Role
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for coordinating with superintendents under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager.
What You Will Do
- Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines
- Determine labor requirements
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes as well as other regulations
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, the project team, and clients while representing the owner or developer
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses
- Regularly review and understand job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
- Select and oversee those who complete specific pieces of the project such as painting or plumbing
- Prepare and submit budget estimates as well as progress and cost-tracking reports
- Develop and implement quality control programs
- Immediately rectify issues with delays, weather-related issues, or emergencies at construction sites
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and other construction issues
- Plan, organize, and direct activities concerning the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure proper procedures are carried out
- Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans using computer-based collaborative software
Qualifications
- Associate or B.S. in a construction-related field preferred
- 2-3 years in PE/PM position
- Procore, MS Project, Project Management software
- Must be detail-oriented
